We really enjoyed our stay, Chris was very friendly and on hand if we needed anything, it was as exactly as the photos showed. Really had a wonderful time there, and already booked our next holiday for August here! Will definitely be our regular couples get away.

Absoloutly beautiful little shepherds hut in a lovely area, the hut was decorated beautifully with everything you need inside, lovely and clean. Only thing I would say and its not a criticism just an observation, there was no where near enough logs provided to be able to heat the hot tub to a hot temperature, we had to go to a local RANGE and collect two more bags of logs, people in huts next to us also found the same! Other than that, it was a great little break
This hut was exactly as advertised. Lovely little hut which has everything you need for a nice quiet getaway. The hut was clean. The hosts had arranged for flowers to be in hut for our arrival as we were there for birthday weekend and this was lovely.
The property was perfect for what we were looking for, all the facilities we needed and more. The hot tub was delightful we cant wait to come again!

Loved our stay in Bonnie, brought some food with us and used the kitchen and full sized fridge. Great bathroom. Wood fired hot tub is such a treat and we had marshmallows on the fire pit. Would bring extra wood with you if you can. Had meals at the Chequers pub would recommend. Gorgeous walking routes. Perfect for a few days of slowing down.

A few weeks ago we had the amazing opportunity to spend the time in Bonnies Shepherds Hut in Nottingham, and we have to say that it was pure magic! Being an intimate lodge with its hot tub, the gentle and wellplanned atmosphere added glamour to our romantic getaway. Each element helped to create a calm and warm atmosphere where we could relax and enjoy each others presence. We enjoyed every minute spent there and we are looking forward to going back again soon. We recently stayed at Bonnies Shepherds Hut for a short break and had the best time. The hut was beautiful and clean and the grounds were super spacious and very well kept. The hut is in a group of four huts but each one is incredibly private with lots of space around it. The owner was brilliant, very welcoming and really helpful with local information, wed definitely recommend Bonnies Hut as the perfect place to escape and unwind thank you so much!

We had an amazing weekend at Bonnie Sheppard's Lodge. The Lodge was well maintained and clean. Upon arrival there is a book explaining how everything works and what to do in the surrounding area. The surrounding area is beautiful countryside with Belvoir castle only 3 mile away which is definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and using the bbq. the owner Chris is extremely friendly and helpful. We will be returning.

Absolutely fantastic setting, so peaceful and calming. The facilities were superb, everything you need. Lots to do in the area, superb pub The Windmill a short walk away we visited quite a few times ! The host, Chris, was wonderful, warm and friendly and great company. Fantastic little place, very well maintained grounds and the owners have clearly thought of everything and added lots of little final touches to make the place homely. The wood fired hot tub I did find difficult to use, as I hadnt used one before, but Chris was helpful in getting it started. The extra cost of wood for the hot tub was a bit of a downer though.

Stunning place for a romantic get away. The hut itself is immaculately cleaned and has decent facilities for a small space. The bedroom is super cute and even has starlike lights on the ceiling. Although there are 3 other huts on the same site, they're all spaced apart so it still feels private, and the hot tub areas are also made private.
Had a wonderful stay at Bonnie's Hut, it far exceeded our expectations! Lovely and warm due to the log burner and the underfloor heating in the hut. It was extremely clean and cosy, in a quiet, secluded area. The hot tub was great, plenty of room and amazing underneath a clear sky at night. There are plenty of walks around the hut if you enjoy getting out and about. Planning to return in the summer!

Just got back from this lovely part of the country and the very well thought out shepherds Hut . We stayed in bonnie and had to say we had such a chill . The hut was everything we expected and more very warm and the hot tub is fantastic.We would defo go back and in the Summer then we could appericate the outdoor areas more .Chris could not of been more helpful and the site is a credit to them .
Honestly couldnt have been a nicer stay! 1010 for everything. The lodge is so lovely and clean, has everything you need and feels really luxurious. The hosts are absolutely lovely and theres tonnes to do in the area. Will definitely be coming back!

Very nice hut, everything you need. I imagine it would be amazing in the Summer. The only down side was having to purchase wood for the hot tub, not money we had planned on spending.
Me and my Girlfriend recently stayed for 3 nights in Bonnies Hut. The hut was absolutely gorgeous, extremely homely, cosy and obviously very well kept. It was very clear that a lot of love and thought had been put into the hut to ensure guest feel very accommodated. The Hosts were very helpful, kind and happy to help. The hot tub was superb, perfect for a soak under the stars. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who might be interested and shall definitely be returning.

What a beautiful place! We had a wonderful two day stay and would really like to return in the near future! The facilities are wonderful with a bit of luxury and a lot of nature. Me and my partner had just come back from a fantastic stay in Bonnie's Shepherds hut. Chris was very welcoming and friendly. The hut itself was immaculately presented with added homely details. There was also plenty of storage under the bed for suitcasesbackpacks. The bed was very comfy and the TV was so big it made it feel like a cinema room which was great for the evenings. The shower was a really large rain shower with great pressure and temperature. We used the hot tub every day which was easy to use and lovely to sit and chill in after a days walking. There is also an outdoor seating and bbqfire pits with each hut overlooking the lake which is lovely to sit by and relax. Would 100 recommend this accommodation you wont be disappointed.
Me and my partner stayed in Bonnies but for 3 nights and this was by far the best getaway we have had. The owners Chris and Helen greeted us on arrival and helped us carry our bags, they then went through how to use everything and were extremely helpful. The hut had absolutely everything we needed in and the bed was so comfy! The place was so peaceful and we spent most of the time sitting on the garden furniture enjoying the view of the pond which was beautiful. I even had a massage from Lisa which was a lovely experience and I would highly recommend. Chris and Helen gave loads of recommendations on where to go and they were just such lovely genuine people, we also loved the dogs, Lillie and herbie as we are massive animal lovers. This is the perfect getaway and we will 100 be visiting again, we didn't want to leave. We highly recommend.
Me and my friend recently stayed at Bonnies Shepherds Hut for 2 nights and had a fantastic stay. When we arrived Chris, the owner, helped us with our bags to the hut. He gave us lots of recommendations of places to go and see and also helped us set us the hammock, BBQ and hot tub to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. Chris and Helen both joined us for a drink on the Saturday night which was lovely, they are really friendly people! The lodge is on a beautiful lake and there is shared bar area which is perfect to have drinks whilst taking in the GORGEOUS scenery. We stayed up late in hot tub watching the stars and to cure our sore heads in the morning we had a lovely massage, which you can book for extra, off Lisa we would definitely recommend this Lisa is lovely and the massage was the best wed ever had. This was the best Shepherds Hut we have stayed in by far. Very cosy but with enough room and storage. Better than others weve stayed in previously as it has a proper toilet and shower etc. Each of the huts are well spaced out from each other so you have plenty of privacy as well. Easy to get to location. Plenty of recommendations on things to doplaces to eat in the local area as well. The hot tub definitely holds in a surprising amount of heat which is great when you want to get it going the next day. However I think we misjudged how long it would take to heat up in the winter cold on the first night though! The owners were friendly and helpful. Would also recommend getting a massage from Lisa very very reasonable price and super close.
