Corky Reviews

George
Honestly, for what you pay, this place is pretty decent. The location is just stunning-perfect for walking and soaking up the peaceful countryside. Sitting on the patio, you really feel like you're escaping the hustle and bustle. The main building has a lovely grand piano, which was a nice surprise and sounded great-owners were kind enough to let me have a go. Also, the nearby Bell Inn in Gumley is worth a visit for good food and friendly service. Definitely recommend!
James
We really enjoyed the peaceful setting, perfect for escaping the hustle. The location was ideal for exploring walks and local sights like FoxReadmoreton Locks and the RIII Museum. Being from Leicester, it was nice to get away for a bit. Only downside was the lack of a TV-would've been nicer than the projector. The second bedroom was a bit chilly without a heater, so pack a jumper. Also, don't forget some milk since the nearest shop's in Fleckney. Just sit back and enjoy those sheep and cows, it's lovely!
Emma Carter
The cabin was stunning, super spacious with breathtaking views everywhere. We loved our stayand the owners even left a welcome box for our puppy. Brilliant!
Rachel
The cabin was super cosy and spotless, nestled in a gorgeous spot perfect for long walks. Foxton Locks nearby is a must-see. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Emma
The cabin was super cosy and really well decorated, with comfy bedding that made us feel right at home. The hosts were lovely, offering great local tips and making sure everything was warm and ready, including the hot tub. Definitely recommend!
