Pine Lodge Reviews

This is a wellmaintained site, with each lodge offering some privacy and a hot tub. The site is secure, featuring a gated entrance, and is generally quiet. The lodge is wellfurnished, and the appliances are of a good standard. One of the best lodges we have stayed in, and worth considering. Plenty to do in the surrounding area with historic homes such as Burghley. The only minor drawback was that the internet dropped out occasionally.
Very comfortable lodge with private hot tub in a lovely area what's not to like!
This cottage was the perfect Easter weekend getaway. It was cosy but modern and very comfortable, and we enjoyed having our own private hot tub very much. It was quiet and peaceful, and we attended Easter Sunday service at a local church and had a delicious meal afterwards at a local pub that had been recommended in the cottage information. Rutland Water was an amazing spot very close by too.
Our second stay, 1st was in Holly Lodge last August. We loved our stay again. A couple of minor issues sorted quickly by the friendly reception staff. We look forward to another visit.
Our lodge was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. A couple of minor problems didn't spoil our stay. The hob didn't have English instruction and can opener was worse for wear. Just minor issue. And restaurant was closed through out our stay.
Michael
The perfect getaway break, peaceful and tranquil in the most wonderful setting, everything from the relaxing evenings in the hot tub, the walks in and around the area and watching the hares play in the fields makes this the perfect escape.
Fabulous lodge. Well appointed. Very generous well pack. Quiet location, well situated to explore Rutland and neighbouring counties. Thoughly recommend and look forward to a return stay.
Very well appointed lodge. Welcome pack much appreciated.

This was our second stay at the Rutland Lodges. We were once again delighted with the standard of cleanliness, and the comfortable surroundings of the lodge interiors. I would certainly recommend staying at the Lodges to everyone. Just one thing we didnt like was the lack of ventilation in the twin room. Although there are doors into the garden, we wouldnt leave them open at night in case of creepy crawlies getting in! Apart from that, we enjoyed our time there immensely, with the hot tub, swimming pool, friendly and helpful staff who could ask for more?
Michael
Stayed at the lodges several times and always perfect we will be back later in the year
This log cabin is the best we have stayed in anywhere in England. Well done a lot of thought has gone in to the equipment supplied. We will definitely come again.
Second visit to the lodges, so warm and comfy in them and everyone is so nice and helpful. Fantastic spot to explore the area from or just relax for a few days

What a lovely spot. Nice and tranquil. Spacious and felt like a home from a home. Cant wait to go again. Thankyou for making my birthday special.
Everything first class . Will be back again !!!
The site is really well maintained and the lodges are positioned to give you privacy which is perfect. The lodge had a lot of well thought out extras, and the interiors furnishings were lovely, clean and very good quality. The hot tub was cleaned every day and the staff were lovely. The site and lodge is definitely a one I would return to.
Property was very good, modern and private. Reception was less welcoming and lacked the holiday spirit
Rachael
A great location to explore a beautiful part of the world. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I booked this due to it's 5 ticks rating. The lodge is beautiful, but cleanliness and maintenance needs looking at. The lodge needs a proper clean bearing in mind it's still early in the season too much dust, hair, cobwebs etc., There were several maintenance issues, which could be easily remedied. Arriving to heated towel rails being left on when the temperature outside is 27 degrees, made it difficult to cool down an already very warm lodge. These are lodges are located on an established caravan and camping site. To me, it felt like glamping, rather than luxury and does not compare to other 5 ticks properties previously stayed at. This lodge is now a couple of years old now and the brand new feeling has very much worn off. Time for some TLC!
Lovely lodge with all amenities very clean but the outside area could have done ... Lovely lodge with all amenities very clean but the outside area could have done with a clean as lots of birdpoo kettle could do with descaling, hot tub was amazing and was attended to everyday , the people in the village were very nice and a very secure location also local pubs are nice would definitely stay here again
Sharon
This property is just excellent. Everything you need is provided and we had a fabulous time. Would certainly recommend.
Robert
Absolutely terrible, loved every moment again. We will be back, but don't want lots of others booking it until we have.
Patrick
Our stay at the Pine lodge was to describe in one word perfect. All comfort was present to break the daily gring and set your mind on relaxing mode. Quiet location and super friendly staff, from reception to maintenance. The hot tub was so perfect with the colder weather, and was checked daily. We will definitly be coming back Thank you so much for the lovely stay Kind regards.
Absolutely outstanding. Loved my stay at pine Lodge, will definitely return.
Lovely stay couldnt recommend enough. Friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome.

Pine Lodge was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean throughout and all facilities provided were to the highest standard. Very quiet, warm and cosy with underfloor heating. The hot tub was situated in an enclosed, private garden area and maintained daily. Sun loungers, barbecue and outside dining facilities too. Quite exceptional will definitely return. Only improvement, some larger cups or mugs.
Nathalie
A great location, extremely comfortable lodges and friendly and welcoming service.
Amazing property, very clean and comfortable. Would definately stay here again.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Pine lodge was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Both bathrooms had fantastic showers with instant & constant hot water. Went for relaxation & privacy & that is exactly what we got. All staff were very polite & helpful. Went in hot tub every day & it was beautiful. The hot tub gentleman who called daily always knocked on gate & spoke before entering the garden, showing respect for guests.
Timothy
It was excellent. The only gripe was the previous tenant had unplugged the dvd which I didn't discover until the last day, however Netflix was excellent. We didn't get round to using the hot tub but it was there. I only wish every property would be that good but we hope to be back again to discover more in this beautiful area
Overall a very good lodge, excellent spec. In bathrooms and kitchen. Excellent beds made for a good night sleep. Only reason for 4 not 5 stars was a few little things. Bedside light bulb blown which I get might just be unlucky but the same room had no batteries in the remote for the tv either so just needed a little more attention to detail. One small annoyance to mention, we had gone for a relaxing week away and the three days of jet washing in the lodges around us was a little noisy as was the entrance road with the lorries flying up and down. Overall very good and would certainly stay again
Fantastic accommodation only let down by no WiFi , we couldnt log on to it at all. The place is the most friendliest place I have been in a long top in a long time and also the village of Greetham is really friendly as well. . Would definitely recommend this place .
Pine. Lodge. Exceeded my expectations,. Would defiantly book again.Lol
Tamana
Great hot tub, good location, comfortable beds and plenty of space!
Cabin was lovely, really, really nice and well thought out. Had essentials provided in the lodge, milk etc. Site had some pretty good facilities, swimming pool, cafe etc. Would perhaps like to see a little more comprehensive shop for essentials but was really impressed with the site and the cabin
