Friendly reception and introduction to the property and external facilities. Very comfortable and fully met our expectations from the advertised description. We particularly liked the hot tub, plot privacy and maintenance of the attractive garden area. We enjoyed the large shower and the fluffy towels. A bakingsmall roasting tray would have been a helpful addition.

This was our third visit to the Luxury Lodges in Greetham. Overall our stay was just as nice as the previous visits. The only little niggles were the lighting was poor in the lounge, some bulbs were not working, and the lamps seemed very dull. The laminate flooring in the lounge was badly scratched by the two sofas, due to a lack of protective felt on the bottom of the furniture legs. The ironing board cover was badly burnt and needed replacing. Some of the kitchen utensils had to be washed after we arrived as they were dirty. We just felt standards had slipped somewhat since our last visit two years ago.

We loved our stay and will definitely return! Everything provided for a lovely fun stay . Really quiet and just left alone to have a fab time. Thank you

We stayed at Pine Lodge with our two grandsons for 5 days. We all loved it, went out most days to local attractions. The only thing that would improve facilities, if the receptionshop sold more essentials. We did a big shop before arriving but unfortunately forgot a couple of items like salt and pepper. As I say we had a great time. Lodge was outstanding. Second time we have been.

While the lodge was equipped to a high standard, the fact that the WIFI was not working in Pine Lodge, meant we had to piggyback on to other lodges WIFI. This meant we had slow response times and quite often the signal would drop out. We did get very good support and service from the people manning the reception desk.

This lodge was luxury, first time in a lodge and could not fault any aspect. People at the reception also very helpful with every question answered.

We stopped in this property a few years ago and really enjoyed it, but feel that the standard has definitely gone down since then. When we arrived and were shown into the property, we were met by flying ants everywhere. Clearly nobody had checked the property in the few days prior to our arrival. In addition, the door closure on the second bedroom had been forced and was completely bentbroken, there was a light bulb out in the lounge and we could not get any internet. We then spent the first hour there hoovering up dead flying ants. The internet was not working during our stay, although we were able to access a reduced internet service by connecting to the WiFi in one of the other lodges. All in all, this was not a satisfactory start to our holiday. Therefore, sorry to say, we won't be returning.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book it again in the near future. Our kids had ample space to play and the barbeque and hot tub were a winner.

This was our third stay at Pine Lodge and we were impressed that the quality has remained. We took friends for their first visit and they were also impressed. As an aside they are caravan owners and were also impressed with the size of sites and facilities. It was a lovely touch to arrive to complementary bubbly, locally produced biscuits and eggs. The lodge heating was already on to add to the sense of welcome. The hot tub had been upgraded since our last visit.

There were two issues 1 the kitchen tap seldomly stopped dripping 2 the bathroom toilet had a small exit which meant ten flushes and using the brush was the way to clear it. That was frustrating. Otherwise, a beautiful setting and very quiet.

The property was fantastic, clean, everything you might need was available in the lodge, including a dishwasher, washing machine and wifi. The grounds were all well maintained, the hot tub was clean and well maintained and we used the swimming pool every day, where it was lovely to have a pool to ourselves. All staff were friendly and helpful. The village was a short, scenic, walk away with 2 pubs serving lovely food. Rutland Water, Oakham and Stamford are all just a 1520 minute drive away. We had glorious weather whilst there, and it was the perfect get away for myself, husband and two teenage boys. We tend to not return to the same place twice, but Ive no doubt we will return here at some point.

The property was incredibly spacious and contained everything you would need for your stay. The grounds were very well maintained and the on site staff very helpful.

This is a wellmaintained site, with each lodge offering some privacy and a hot tub. The site is secure, featuring a gated entrance, and is generally quiet. The lodge is wellfurnished, and the appliances are of a good standard. One of the best lodges we have stayed in, and worth considering. Plenty to do in the surrounding area with historic homes such as Burghley. The only minor drawback was that the internet dropped out occasionally.

This cottage was the perfect Easter weekend getaway. It was cosy but modern and very comfortable, and we enjoyed having our own private hot tub very much. It was quiet and peaceful, and we attended Easter Sunday service at a local church and had a delicious meal afterwards at a local pub that had been recommended in the cottage information. Rutland Water was an amazing spot very close by too.

Our second stay, 1st was in Holly Lodge last August. We loved our stay again. A couple of minor issues sorted quickly by the friendly reception staff. We look forward to another visit.

This was our second stay at the Rutland Lodges. We were once again delighted with the standard of cleanliness, and the comfortable surroundings of the lodge interiors. I would certainly recommend staying at the Lodges to everyone. Just one thing we didnt like was the lack of ventilation in the twin room. Although there are doors into the garden, we wouldnt leave them open at night in case of creepy crawlies getting in! Apart from that, we enjoyed our time there immensely, with the hot tub, swimming pool, friendly and helpful staff who could ask for more?

The site is really well maintained and the lodges are positioned to give you privacy which is perfect. The lodge had a lot of well thought out extras, and the interiors furnishings were lovely, clean and very good quality. The hot tub was cleaned every day and the staff were lovely. The site and lodge is definitely a one I would return to.

A great location to explore a beautiful part of the world. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I booked this due to it's 5 ticks rating. The lodge is beautiful, but cleanliness and maintenance needs looking at. The lodge needs a proper clean bearing in mind it's still early in the season too much dust, hair, cobwebs etc., There were several maintenance issues, which could be easily remedied. Arriving to heated towel rails being left on when the temperature outside is 27 degrees, made it difficult to cool down an already very warm lodge. These are lodges are located on an established caravan and camping site. To me, it felt like glamping, rather than luxury and does not compare to other 5 ticks properties previously stayed at. This lodge is now a couple of years old now and the brand new feeling has very much worn off. Time for some TLC!
